Job Description
One of Insight Global’s major clients are seeking multiple Purchasing Agents to join their team. Qualified candidates will join an existing and rapidly growing purchasing organization within the energy industry. Daily responsibilities will include:
• Review materials requisitions for accuracy and completeness
• Request bids as necessary
• Evaluate quotations and recommend suppliers
• Negotiate terms with suppliers
• Monitor purchase order lifecycles
• Utilize Maximo database for requisition processing and maintenance
• Monitor material inventory levels
• Utilize technology to maximize efficiency of purchasing process in a creative way

Required Skills & Experience
• 0-8 years of experience within purchasing/buyer setting (looking at multiple skill levels)
• Ability to be a self-starter and actively participate in their own development
• Not afraid to learn technology/willing to learn
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience supporting utility or energy-related organizations
• Experience with Maximo (EAM – Enterprise Asset Management) software
