Job Description

This position will be part of the xEV Drive Unit team for Electric Vehicle products and will be responsible for providing Metrology support externally to customers and suppliers and internally to the plant manufacturing teams for both New Product Introduction and Mass Production activity. The Metrology Staff Associate is responsible for performing high-precision dimensional inspections of automotive components using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other metrology equipment. This role ensures compliance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements, supporting product quality and process capability.

Required Skills & Experience

0-5 years of Experience working with Metrology in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using a variety of tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, profilometers, and optical comparators
Associate degree or technical diploma

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- GD&T certification
- CMM Programming certification (MCOSMOS, PC-DMIS, Calypso, or Metrology x4)
- Has worked in an Automotive environment
- Has worked for a Japanese based company
- Familiar with PPAP and APQP activities
