Job Description

A client of Insight Global is transforming into a Cloud-based DevOps oriented Automation centric organization. In order to deliver high quality software with speed to market in mind, we are looking for an experienced, smart, driven individual who will help us deliver world class products. This could include working in new technologies such as Selenium, Java, Cucumber, a BDD framework, Continuous Integration, and a cloud-based environment with proven experience in automation scripting driving efficiencies into day-to-day Quality Assurance processes. The candidate is responsible for the design and implementation of a solution that can automate accessing and interacting with web services-based interfaces, along with driving other emulation software that tests certain aspects of our product. This person will have strong knowledge of SDLC reqt gathering & analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation. Proven experience in testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, HP Quick Test Professional and in creating test frameworks. This person will be expected to solve technical challenges which will result in shortening test cycles, increase product speed to market and improve the test frameworks, tools and technologies used by the organization. The pay rate for this position ranges based off years of experience between $45-55/hour.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven expertise in testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Grid, JIRA, Appium, Maven
- New development utilizing technologies such as java, SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, Linux, GIT, or any other software version control
- Proven experience in creating test frameworks
- Experience using GitHub for source control and development
- Proven experience in test plan creation, test case design, test case review, test case execution, defect management, and preparing test reports
- Proficient using Quality Center/ALM or Zephyr for test planning, execution, and defect tracking
- Knowledge and experience using SOAP services testing and tools used such as Postman, Ready API/SoapUI Pro
- Strong knowledge of the entire SDLC Requirement gathering & analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation
- Working knowledge of agile technologies and continuous integration/delivery
- Solve technical challenges which will result in shortening test cycles, increase product speed to market and improve the test frameworks, tools and technologies used by the organization
- Strong research skills
- Ability to identify cause and cure for complex bug fixes
- Good verbal and written communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
- Roll out designed processes to augment testing efforts and contribute to CI readiness
- Knowledge on Copilot and AI agents
- Hands on experience with BDD, cucumber/karate frame work.
