A leading engineering firm is looking for a Joint Use Permit Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The team works closely with various pole owners to ensure seamless integration of fiber infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the permit application processes for various pole owners and be able to navigate these processes efficiently from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
· Permit Processing: Handle permit applications for pole owners such as ONCOR, AEP, ATT, and others.
· Process Navigation: Understand and manage the unique application processes for each pole owner, including email submissions, portal entries, and specific requirements.
· Communication: Engage with pole owners to identify and gather necessary information for permit applications.
· Data Management: Process and manage data collected to ensure accurate and timely permit approvals.
· Problem Solving: Quickly find answers and resolve issues by contacting pole owners and other relevant parties.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all permit applications and communications.

· Proven experience in processing pole permits for fiber engineering or a related field.
· Familiarity with the processes of ONCOR, AEP, ATT, and others.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable engaging in conversations with pole owners and other stakeholders.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
· Ability to quickly find solutions and navigate different permit processes.
· Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using various industry portals and tools, particularly Katapult and QGIS/ArcGIS.
