One of Insight Globals major clients are seeking a talented individual to lead their PMO group. Qualified candidates will be responsible for leading the strategic execution of a growing portfolio of hydropower and dam infrastructure projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered with excellence and on time. Additional day to day responsibilities include:
Establish and evolve PMO strategy, governance, and best practices tailored to hydropower development.
Partner with executive leadership to prioritize and manage the project pipeline.
Oversee the full lifecycle of design, engineering, and construction projectsfrom feasibility through commissioning.
Monitor project performance, budgets, and schedules across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
Lead and mentor a team of project managers, schedulers, and support staff.
Standardize tools, templates, and workflows to drive consistency and efficiency.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery outcomes.
Serve as a key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and regulatory agencies.
Support proposal development, permitting processes, and community engagement efforts.
Provide transparent reporting to leadership and investors on project health and risk.

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
10+ years of experience managing infrastructure projects, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
Proven success delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects in hydropower, dams, or water infrastructure.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Smartsheet).
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
PMP certification or equivalent.
Masters degree in Engineering, Business, or Environmental Management.
Experience working with FERC, USACE, or other regulatory bodies.
Familiarity with environmental permitting and licensing for hydroelectric projects.
Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and carbon accounting.
Experience in a startup or high-growth infrastructure environment.
