We are seeking a dynamic Operations Supervisor to lead and manage a team of design engineers and technical staff supporting power distribution projects. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, mentoring engineering personnel, and ensuring the successful execution of design deliverables. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong background in utility operations, project coordination, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing a team of 5-10
Experience can be within a similar industry such as telecom, fiber, etc.
Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to a team of design engineers and technical staff
Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and safety-focused culture within the engineering team
Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, field operations, and client stakeholders
Implement and monitor operational procedures, quality standards, and productivity goals
Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and support professional development
Lead problem-solving efforts and provide technical guidance on complex design challenges
Ensure compliance with industry codes, utility standards, and regulatory requirements
Support budgeting, forecasting, and workload planning in coordination with senior leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (PE license preferred)
5+ years of experience in power distribution or utility operations, with 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong understanding of distribution system design, including overhead and underground infrastructure
Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficiency in project management tools, CAD platforms, and utility design software
