Job Description

A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking an Environmental & Air Permitting Engineer to join their site in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in achieving their environmental compliance needs for the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. You will oversee the completion of air, water and waste permit applications, as well as produce engineering calculations, compliance reports, and SWPPP/SPCC plans. This will be 70% industry, 30% consulting. The established salary for this role is $90-110k, based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering and 2+ years of experience with air permitting OR Science degree and 4+ years of air permitting experience
· Experience working through the permit approval process
· Industry experience, working with manufacturing sites or refineries
