Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Equipment Engineering Manager working on site in Austin, TX and support a public-private partnership of preeminent semiconductor systems and defense electronics companies, national labs, and academic institutions. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor logic, memory, heterogenous integration, chip cooling, etc. As an Engineering Equipment Manager – you will be responsible for leading the design, development, installation, and maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your role will focus on optimizing performance and ensuring high reliability of all equipment through continuous improvement strategies and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Lead, guide, and mentor a team of equipment engineers and technicians.
Drive equipment reliability and efficiency through structured process improvement initiatives.
Manage equipment-related projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Provide technical support and maintain accurate documentation on equipment performance and maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience
5 + years of equipment engineering management experience in the Semiconductor industry
Proven leadership and project management experience.
Familiarity with cleanroom environments, SPC, and diagnostic tools.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and various OS platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field; Master’s degree is a plus.
