Job Description

The Senior Director, Enterprise Project Management Office is a leadership role within the Information Technology department responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of all enterprise-wide programs, initiatives, and projects. This role requires proven experience in executing transformational initiatives with a focus on Information Technology and Agile execution principles. The Senior Director will lead a direct team of program managers, project managers, business analysts, and an indirect matrixed team of business unit subject matter experts and external vendors.

Required Skills & Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
15+ years in Enterprise Portfolio, Program, and Project Management.
10+ years in IT enterprise programs, projects, resources, and leadership in a complex, matrixed environment.
Experience with software conversions, large system implementations, and mergers and acquisitions.
Skills:
Proven experience in transformational initiatives with a focus on IT and Agile execution principles.
Advanced analytical skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexity, priority, and ambiguity.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively influence at all levels of the organization.

Intrinsically motivated.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Education: MBA or other advanced degree.
Certifications:
Project Management Certification.
Certified Scrum Master or similar certification.
Lean and Six Sigma certifications.
Experience:
Automotive F&I experience.
Proven ability to manage and lead program managers, project managers, and/or scrum leaders.
Success in fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Skill in managing matrixed teams focused on large complex initiatives.
Strong financial aptitude.
Expert understanding of business structures, interrelationships, and sensitivity analyses.
Skills:
Innovative thinking with the ability to mobilize ideas into action.
Ability to present and "tell the story" to executive leadership.
Proven ability to develop meaningful KPIs and drive desired outcomes.
Ability to identify, develop, and implement process improvements.
