Job Description

One of Insight Global’s major clients are seeking a qualified materials inspector to join their team. Qualified candidates will be responsible for materials inspection for various projects. General responsibilities include:

• Checking density and strength of cylindrical concrete samples in lab setting
• Occasionally performs inspections of soil samples in lab setting
• Reports on material supply levels and assist with physical inventory

Required Skills & Experience

• High School diploma or GED

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Prior experience with density testing or inspection of concrete and soil samples in lab settings
• ACI certification for concrete testing and inspection (American Concrete Institution)
• ICC certification for soil testing and inspection (International Code Council)
• NPDES certification for erosion control (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System)
• Asphalt testing experience
