A Fortune 500 client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Java/Machine Learning Engineer to join a team within their IT Supply Chain division. This team specifically supports a post-sale sourcing application that they utilize to further develop their sourcing strategy. This person will be focused solely on backend development/creating models, and should be skilled in Java/Springboot and Machine Learning. Strong communication skills are a must.
This role does work 100% remote, and pays between $50-65/hr. based on skills and years of experience.

-Extensive experience with Java/Springboot development
-Experience in cloud-based technologies and deployments Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure
-Experience in effective data modeling with both Relational and NoSQL databases
-Experience with security frameworks for user and services authorization and authentication
-Experience with creating and executing unit, functional, destructive and performance tests
-Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques
-Experience with version control system
-Experience in designing systems for High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Performance, Efficiency, and Security
-Exposure to developing technical roadmaps including work estimation, refactoring and modernizing legacy systems
-Experience with Machine Learning. Creating models and implementing models, productionizing it.
