Primary Responsibilities:
* Define clear, user-centric messaging so the core features and benefits are communicated in a way that is intuitive and resonates with users.
* Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for the app's interface, including microcopy, keep the user engaged, motivate them to drive key actions and reduce friction.
* Write and edit clear copy for product features, including navigational elements and error messages
* Edit and proofread copy, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and accessibility.
* Leverage best practices, metrics, qualitative, and quantitative research to validate copy decisions and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align copy with the product design, user needs, and overall product strategy.
* Follow brand guidelines to maintain consistency in tone and messaging and to create a cohesive experience across app and portal.
As a UX Writer, you will be responsible for creating user-friendly, accessible, and on-brand content for our mobile application and self-service web portal. You will work closely with product designers and product managers to ensure the app's interface is both clear and compelling, providing users with a seamless experience. The pay ranges based off years of experience from $55-75/hour.

* US based and native English speaker.
* 7-10 years of experience in UX writing and content strategy.
* A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to write for digital interfaces.
* Experience in mobile app writing with app-specific platforms (iOS/Android).
* Experience working with Figma and familiarity with design workflows.
* You're a commanding storyteller who distills complex problems and proposes simple, elegant solutions.
* Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and inclusive writing practices.
* Ability to define patterns and advocate for consistency without repressing inspiration or inhibiting innovation.
* A passion for simplifying complex ideas and making user experiences more enjoyable.
* Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven content optimization.
* You are a natural problem solver with the ability to successfully juggle multiple demands, prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives across multiple teams, deliver under tight timelines, and adapt to change
* Attention to detail and passion for best-in-class content and design
* Strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, native-app information architecture, and writing
* You're a great storyteller -- verbally and in writing, and behaviorally. You can generate and communicate your research, conceptual ideas, and writing; all within a structured user-centered process.
* Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills is a must as the role requires active collaboration with product owners, UX peers, business stakeholders, and corporate brand marketing.
* Experience with agile/scrum.
* Self-motivated, flexible, organized, and accountable.
