Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Archaeologist for a national engineering consulting firm located in Macon, GA. This individual will provide archaeological services for a broad array of projects and clients. This may include conducting field work, identifying artifacts, laboratory analysis, writing reports, preparing proposals, and consulting with clients and stakeholders. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on all projects. Monitor quality standards and practices.

* Principal Archaeologist providing guidance and support to projects and people.

* Oversee project permits, risk, timeline and budget.

* Senior level scientific professional responsible for leading complex projects requiring innovative investigation techniques.

* Supervise the analysis and formation of recommendations in written reports and treatment plans.

* Assist in establishing and updating current policies/ procedures for technical projects in field of expertise, to ensure proper interpretation and implementation by subordinate staff.

Required Skills & Experience

-Graduate degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or closely related field (MA, MS, PhD)

-8+ years of experience within the industry

- Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA)

-Experience in a leadership position

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Secretary of the Interior (SOI) qualified.

- Any other associated certifications
