The Events Project Manager position is responsible for the management, coordination and execution of large-scale Corporate events supporting a Fortune 500 client. The PM role will leverage strong project management, communication and product management skills to deliver valuable event-specific products to increase associate satisfaction within the product management community. Events will be in person and hosted in Atlanta, GA.
Manage, coordinate, and execute all details for multi-day, in person Corporate events supporting the companys Product Management community
Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy
Schedule necessary project team meetings or sub meetings, develop and distribute the meeting agenda, facilitate the meeting, and report out on actionable items
Coordinate registration and promotional materials to ensure smooth execution of each event
Ensure compliance with timelines and deadlines to avoid any disruptions during event planning and execution
Hold internal employees and/or teams accountable for assigned tasks and updates
Partner and oversee the internal events team; Ensure team is completing assigned tasks and provide support in navigating with third-party vendors (i.e. AV equipment, contracts, transportation, etc.)
Track progress, flag risks, and proactively communicate risks to leadership team
Provide white glove service to keynote speakers and presenters; Coordinate virtual meetings with detailed agendas to keep presenters informed and prepared
Work with on-site Associates to ensure in person Atlanta events are supported
Manage all of the major and minor details surrounding events
