Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in providing financial insights, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and working collaboratively across departments.

Purpose:
This position will work as an integral member of a highly skilled Finance team and will be responsible for being the subject matter expert of business unit financials
Partner with various departments to gather data and provide financial insights that support business initiatives and strategies
Responsible for assisting with the creation and completion of budgets, forecasts, variances, and long-term strategic plans
Creating executive summaries for Senior Management and Leadership as well as implementing and maintaining operating reports and analyses to support company strategic initiatives
Present monthly trends to business unit owners and maintain forecast changes
Will help drive effective decision-making by using analyses such as financial models, cost analysis, ROI, and proformas
Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

Essential Job Functions:
Assist with the preparation and completion of budgets, forecasts and long-term plans
Analyze actual performance to budget/forecast and monitor trends of key performance indicators
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes
Support Senior Management and Departments with in-depth analysis, including financial models
Use SQL queries to source data for ad-hoc analysis and special projects
Implement and work with Business Intelligence tools and dashboarding
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Improve upon current reporting and processes to drive efficiencies
Assist with the preparation of presentations for Senior Management and Leadership

Salary Expectations: $85-95K - 6.5% Bonus - Depending on Experience

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the retail industry
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills for partnering with functional leaders and works well in a team environment
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and key financial metrics
Innovative, hands-on, and self-directed
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
Experience involving various financial analysis and forecasting duties. (ROI, MPV)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
Effective data visualization skills in tools such as PowerPoint and Power BI
Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems (Prophix, SAP, Oracle)
Effective knowledge of Databases, SQL queries, and Data Analysis
Excel Proficient
