Job Description

The Sample Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, procurement and distribution of product samples for benchmark, testing and cost analysis supporting the Global Brand and Product Development department, Value Engineering and all cross-functional partners. Responsibilities include maintaining and reporting on sample expenses according to the samples procurement budget addressing procurement challenges and maintaining a 95% on-time delivery rate. The Sample Coordinator will manage and update the internal custom ordering process, Sample Request Management System (SRM), in order to ensure optimal execution of sample procurement for The Home Depot. They will be responsible for managing multiple storage locations and handling inventory tracking (WASP) so that samples purchased meet or exceed product specifications and timeliness. Analyze and report weekly metrics including that of contractors to effectively monitor quality and service.



Key Responsibilities:

* 50% Procurement and distribution of product samples that meet specifications features defined by Merchants, Global Operation Managers, Value Engineering, PQE Lab, Quality Assurance, Brand Development, HD Home, and Sourcing Offices

* 25% Assist team members in service/field/customer problems analyzing metrics to effectively monitor quality and service

25% Manage weekly AMEX reconciliation and reallocation for entire Samples Team; Preparing domestic and international UPS shipments daily;
