We are looking for a Physician Practice Collector to join a large health system in the Atlanta area. Someone who has a strong understanding of payer remits and has worked with all payer portals from a commercial side would be a great fit. This is a production environment where daily metrics are in place to create success. Having experience or eagerness to work in a production environment will allow for success. Candidates with experience billing and collecting in a hospital or physician practice will be highly considered. They will work on 30+ claims per day so having experience in a fast-paced environment is a must. This individual will be responsible for making financial arrangements with patients and/or insurance companies to collect accounts by telephone, mail, or personal interviews.

One year experience in collection, OR associate degree in business.
2-3 years of experience in physician billing
Experience working denials and appeals.
B.S. degree in Business or Accounting.
Prior hospital or healthcare experience.
