Specific Responsibilities:
* Manage full cycle Accounts Payable process, including payments for Emergency Child Care
Programs and mini-grant reconciliation.
* Supervises Accounting / Operations assistant.
* Process employee expenditures including credit card reconciliation and monthly travel expenses
for a staff of 100+ employees in 3 locations,
* Maintain AP records and file documentation to comply with State of Georgia and Federal
purchasing regulations.
* Manage vendor relationships and resolution of billing discrepancies.
* Assist the Director of Finance and V.P. of Finance with month end close including journal entries,
miscellaneous contract RFP's and financial statements.
* Assist with annual agency audit and annual budget preparation.
* Assist with federal/state contract audits. Interface with State and Federal auditors to deliver
original documentation and work papers.
* Prepare the annual IRS 1096 and 1099 filings.
* Reconcile multiple agency bank account statements.
* Accounting/monthly reporting support for State of Georgia Department of Agriculture CACFP
contracts.
* Process checks for deposit via check reader.
* Process Semi Monthly, Payroll Reporting, W-2's.
* Maintain Timesheet and PTO records.
* Other duties as assigned.
