Project Controls Manager Job Summary
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
* Managing multiple projects under single funding
* Develops familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and construction contracting.
* Leads assembling project controls data (i.e. cost, schedule, risk, etc.) for monthly reporting to the Client, and other custom reports as required.
* Responsible for all cost-related reporting in the program.
* Collects schedule reports, layouts, and filters as requested by the project PM and Owner.
* Coordinates with Primavera P6 users data collection and integration for ad-hoc reporting
* Identifies and investigates cost and schedule variances impacting program budgets and milestones.
* Proficient in reviewing and interpreting master program schedules generated by the program's scheduling team.
* Proficient in reviewing and interpreting analysis and reports on Primavera P6 generated monthly schedule Updates and Baselines.
* Identify schedule and cost issues, opportunities and corrective actions to mitigate potential delays to individual projects and overall program milestones.
* Leads cost and schedule positions in a formal meeting, presentation, or negotiation
* Demonstrates advanced knowledge in planning and scheduling concepts and principles, including effects on financial performance.
* Advanced knowledge of scope control, change management and earned value methodology.
* Proficient in PMIS applications (i.e. Oracle Unifier, Kahua, e-builder, etc.)
* Interfaces with PMIS configuration team
