An employer is seeking a DCIM Engineer to sit in Douglasville, GA. This person is responsible for executing the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) strategy, enhancing workflow, and maintaining the DCIM tools and systems that are utilized for data center inventory management, environmental monitoring, and customer utilization reporting.. This person will be responsible for the uptime, configuration, and deployment of key DCIM systems. This includes: BCMS, BMS, and other IoT and environmental monitoring platforms. Lastly, this person is responsible for the in the initial configuration and deployment of new sites into the DCIM. This includes power chain management (UPS, PDU, Panels, Panel Schedules) and space (Room, Data Center, Cage, Cabinet) management.

-Professional experience deploying IoT, Modbus, SNMP, BACnet and other BMS/BAS devices and protocols.
-Strong understanding of facility infrastructure such as UPS, generator, cooling, utility, and fire systems.
-Strong understanding of facility infrastructure capacities, terminology, and calculations such as amps, kW, kwh, tons etc.
-Basic understanding of electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, control circuits, industrial HVAC.
-At least 2-4 years of facility or inventory management experience
