This is a critical position responsible for working with a cross-functional team of program/project managers, engineers, and GIS analysts
This individual will provide database development support by translating change detection activities utilizing advanced processing techniques in GE Smallworld. The successful candidate must be an advocate for safety, lead by example, and help the company attain its vision of being the leading utility by leveraging the skills and experience of a diverse team to focus on the successful delivery of assigned programs.
Digitize, create, maintain, display, and update GIS databases. Attribute structure type and determine occupancy information. Perform QC checks for structure review to ensure critical fields are present in database. Reconcile and post edits to production version and resolve conflicts.

Minimum 6 years of work experience in GIS, project management, process development, or related field
Previous experience working with Smallworld GIS Application
Proven track record of being a team player and demonstrating dedication to project success
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies as needed
Must work well in a close team environment.
