The Buyer role within the Supply Chain Management organization of an aerospace/defense company is responsible for procurement of a diverse portfolio of programs. The Buyer will be a key role in procuring an array of materials for the organization across a variety of programs as part of aircraft development. Procurement of build-to-print parts and commercial off the shelf components are core functions of this role. This is a virtual position.

* Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or equivalent work experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.
* 10+ years' experience in Supply Chain Management in Aerospace/Defense
* 5+ years' experience as a Buyer working with government contractors
* Experience purchasing Build-to-Print parts from machine shops/fabricators
* Knowledge of compliance acquisition procedures and FAR/DFAR requirements.
* International subcontract experience with working knowledge of import/export compliance and ITAR regulations.
