Job Description

* Implement, configure, and maintain the EPIC orders module according to organizational needs.

* Collaborate with clinical staff to understand and optimize order workflows and order sets.

* Conduct rigorous testing of the EPIC system, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

* Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.

* Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to the EPIC orders system.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the EPIC orders module.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EPIC system updates and enhancements.

* Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure system interoperability and data integrity.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Healthcare, or related field OR 5 years of relevant experience

* 2+ years of order sets build experience

* EPIC certified

* Proven experience in healthcare IT, specifically with EPIC systems.

* Some implementation experience

* Strong understanding of clinical documentation workflows and patient flow.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience working in a large health system (This system has 20+ locations)
