To serve as a member of the Technology Operations Team with a focus in Point of Sale & Back Office Systems, with a specialization in [Micros / Infor] and [Altametrics or equivalent]. This person is responsible for building and managing all menu items, item exceptions, promotions, discounts, coupons, and custom configurations while serving as a liaison between various internal teams, and digital vendors. This person will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of corporate and/or franchise restaurant digital signage, which will ensure high levels of systems availability and customer satisfaction, while optimizing usage of hardware and software resources.
Day to Day:
1. Work with our Business Customers (Franchise Owners & Operators) on the telephone to understand and document their questions about our restaurant technology systems. Inquiries also come in through email and will need to be followed up by telephone. Capture contact information and questions and schedule a date/time for a return call for follow up. Must have confidence on the telephone and a friendly demeanor. Also work with internal teams and external partners to project manage the installations for store openings, remodels and acquisitions and answer questions via telephone or email. 5%
2. Build, manage, support and maintain menu item databases, coupons, discounts, promotions, and approved custom configurations. 10%
3. Develop and execute processes for database maintenance problem resolution and escalation support for Technology Operations and underlying infrastructures while creating and maintaining documentation for said processes. 15%
4. Communicate all issues, status updates, action items, and risks to the management team. 5%
5. Partner with key departments outside of IT, such as Operations and Marketing to define, establish and implement best practices and procedures for digital signage (e.g.; database management, integration analysis and platform support). 5%
6. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues within Restaurant Technology; including hardware, software, and network infrastructures. 5%
7. Develop and provide documentation and training processes to enhance the skill level of other Technical Support IT/Service Desk Staff. 5%
8. Provide extended support outside of core business hours when required by the business owners. 20%
9. Provide active assistance to the members of the team responsible for Point of Sale and Back Office System Menu Management. 5%

- Four or more years' experience in systems design, development, and implementation of applications, infrastructure or databases related to restaurant operations and associated technologies.
- Four or more years' of restaurant and/or digital experience
- HS Diploma
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong MS Office experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy in order to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Ability to multi-task.
