Job Description

Position Summary: The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to clients during the installation and commissioning of new control cabinets, as well as maintenance and upgrade of existing control cabinets.

Required Skills & Experience

Must haves:

* 1-5 years in troubleshooting PLCs (programmable logic controllers)

* Hands on familiarity with related instrumentation -- including temperature gauges and pressure gauges.

* Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

* Ability to interact and speak with clients on a regular basis.

* Ability to travel to domestic and international client sites up to 80% of the time.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

* Hands on familiarity with power generation plants, facilities, and equipment.

* Experience with Siemens PLC platforms

* Prior military experience (specifically controls systems maintenance experience for ships/submarines)
