Job Description

We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst for an on-site position in Atlanta, GA. This person will be responsible for handling incoming ACD Service Desk calls (will include calls from internal customers in other Ares' offices), tickets escalated to the Service Desk queue and in-person support tickets. Tickets may be as simple as a password reset or may require probing and advanced troubleshooting techniques to reach resolution. This person will be supporting internal customers at all levels of the firm including executives on a regular basis so personality and professionalism will be taken heavily into consideration. In addition to the day to day Service Desk Support, the Analyst will be responsible for asset inventory management, new hire setups, hardware deployments (laptop imaging, desk setups, etc.) and AV conference room troubleshooting on the 1st level.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree

Excellent IT troubleshooting experience, prior service desk and desktop support experience

We are targeting 5+ years of experience but depending on quality of experience can be flexible within reason

Active Directory and strong Microsoft IT support experience

Strong connectivity knowledge -- LAN/WAN, network, printer & other external device connections (think conference room setup, screens/speakers, etc.) Remote connectivity via VPN, Citrix with Multifactor Authentication

Mobile device & MDM troubleshooting (Apple, Android)

Someone who takes initiative and not the back burner, creative thinker, troubleshooter, if they notice something that can be done better comfortable suggesting alternatives

Great communications skills -- both verbally and in writing

Exudes confidence

Strong customer service skills
