A client of Insight Global in the lottery products and services industry is hiring for a fully remote Senior OutSystems Application Developer to join their Lottery Back Office Development Team! This company is a global leader in providing customized, end-to-end gaming solutions to lottery and gaming organizations worldwide and develops an array of products and services including instant lottery games, lottery gaming systems, terminals and services, and Internet applications, as well as server-based interactive gaming machines.
This team supports the implementation of lottery products with new lottery customers across the globe. The Senior OutSystems Application Developer will play a crucial role in all aspects of system design, technical solution, and development for OutSystems web applications. In addition to the design and developing of web applications, the Developer's responsibilities will also include the configuration of modules, design of integration flows and interfaces, management of environments, deployment of applications, generation of reports, monitoring, and management of incidents. The Senior OutSystems Application Developer will be required to support multiple projects simultaneously along with guiding and leading development team members. This individual should have strong communication skills as they will actively participate in requirements gathering with customers, analysis review, estimations, problem analysis, resolution, and design documentation. A desire to acquire a deep understanding of the lottery industry is crucial for this role. This position will play a crucial role throughout the implementation process, including traveling to Lottery customer sites internationally and must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of development experience
- Experience with OutSystems Development (low-code modern development platform to design and build web applications)
- Advanced SQL (T-SQL) skills -- writing code from scratch (stored procedures, etc.) -- and understanding of relational database concepts
- Good experience with C#, .Net, and CSS
- Experience with the UI and/or API design for web applications
- Strong communication skills -- will still be working in a client facing role and should have ability to work in a face paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with the full lifecycle of implementing a large product.
- Experience in the gaming, lotter, banking, or finance industries.
- Experience installing or using MS SSIS, MS SQL Server Standard and Enterprise/Always On, or SFTP set up/processing.
- Passion for international travel
