Job Description

Develop, execute, and maintain a Knowledge Management (KM) strategy for a project to support the development, organization, storage and delivery of multiple knowledge data bases across varying levels of data security.



Key Responsibilities

-Utilize the knowledge base resources and design training modules for the staff and the sponsor to help them access the knowledge management tools.

-Responsible for the analysis of social networks and formation of communities of practice within the organization.

-Encourage the staff and workers to share knowledge effectively and efficiently.

-Support the development of the Body of Evidence (BoE) for Information Systems (IS) Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) utilizing the Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF).

-Research and assess information sharing platform(s) to support the KM strategy; develop subject matter expertise in the selected platforms.

-Coordinate with PMs and SMEs to establish and maintain a project-wide template library.

-Analyze and edit project and product documentation to ensure conformance with contract deliverable requirements (CDRLs).

-Support multiple PMs by ensuring quality and on-time CDRL (Contract Deliverable) submissions.

-Provide both internal and external training on new project processes, program initiatives, and product features.

-Work closely with PMs and OSP to develop proposals, white papers, and reports.



Additional Responsibilities

-Work with sponsored research project teams to satisfy contractual requirements in the areas of knowledge management and training

Manage and design the framework for content management within the PMO, to support internal and external access requirements

-Create and implement a knowledge management strategy to support Project Management capabilities within the the PMO and business units and Implement Project Management best practices for deliverable management, DoD technical orders and publications, and DoD research! product fielding training aides

-Manage and lead project teams as required

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, Business, Engineering or equivalent with 9 years of relative experience. Included in that experience should be:

--2 years demonstrated ability in Knowledge Management System design, implementation, and support

--3 years experience in educational content design, development, and implementation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Active Secret Clearance

-Master's degree in Education, Information Technology, Business, Engineering or equivalent

-Experience with creating dashboards for data visualization and analysis using Tableau

-Experience with Microsoft Project and Excel

-PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other related certifications
