Senior Software Engineer (Java/Salesforce)

D2D:

An Insight Global retail customer is looking for a Software Engineer area to join their current team of 6 devs. This team is responsible for supporting the client's website with customer facing applications, creating new responsive web applications, collaborating with the product teams/business org, and building out a new application with replacing old code in retail store locations. This is a great opportunity to work on an application from the ground up in a fast paced retail environment. This team works equally within Java/Springboot on the backend and Salesforce (APEX). The team is also responsible for deploying their applications to Kubernetes clusters cloud, containerization, and building microservices. This is within an agile environment with 2 weeks sprint cycles. Communications skill are key for success in this role as well.

Must:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science related field from accredited university

* 6+ Years of Experience in Software Engineering specific role

o Backend Java with Spring boot framework

o Salesforce Development (APEX)

* Experience working within an Agile environment

* Experience deploying code to cloud services environment -- Azure preferred

* API Development experience





Plus:

* Retail Industry Experience -- Home Depot/Carters/Macy's/Walmart/Lowes

* Azure Data Lake/Data Factory experience
