Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable ServiceNow ITSM/ITBM Testing Specialist to join our team. As part of our Agile Development environment, you will be responsible for testing various ServiceNow modules, ensuring the quality and reliability of our IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Business Management (ITBM) suites.





Responsibilities:







Familiarity with ITSM and ITBM suits of ServiceNow: Demonstrate a strong understanding of ServiceNow's ITSM and ITBM modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Demand Management, and Project Portfolio Management.



Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases. Execute tests based on these plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all functionalities. Report and document any identified defects or issues.



Test Case Creation and Review: Develop detailed test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories. Review and refine test cases to ensure accuracy and completeness. Run and generate test reports to provide visibility into the testing progress and results.



Documentation and Defect Management: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and identified defects. Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of defects. Follow Agile Development practices to provide continuous feedback and improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Knowledge on ITSM and ITBM suits of ServiceNow & hands on experience in Testing various ServiceNow Modules.

2. Understand the requirements, prepare test plans, test cases, execute & report.

3. Ability to write test cases and test scenario, review, run and generate test reports.

4. Detailed Test cases and defect documentation in Agile Development

5. Ensure all defects are addressed within the QA cycle, hence avoiding defects in UAT.

6. Ability to work with a team of developers and BA.

7. Knowledge and hands on experience in running ATF scripts.

8. 5+ Years of ServiceNow QA experience is preferable.
