Remote Authorization Representative

Day to day:

One of Atlanta's major healthcare systems is hiring for a fully remote authorization representative. The ideal candidate will have experience in authorizations across all payers and be comfortable in a high-volume environment. 80% of time will be spent submitting online authorizations, where the rest of their time will be split between reaching out to providers via email / phone and reaching out to patients as well. This candidate must be comfortable speaking with patients, providers, and payers alike.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Submitting authorizations online / by phone

2. Communicating with payers, providers, and patients

3. Working within a team in a high call volume environment

4. Working for authorization across all payers

Must Haves:

1. EPIC experience

2. Prior experience with authorizations

3. High School diploma or GED

4. Proactive, learning attitude

5. Great sense of urgency
