Insight Global is looking for a Quality Project Manager to join one of their Telecom customer's Quality Assurance practice. This person will be responsible for leading an end to end testing workstream and should be comfortable leading a project with resources located both on-shore, near-shore, and off shore. This individual should have a proven track record of leading projects through completion that require 20+ resources and ideally related to quality assurance. This person's day will largely consist of capacity planning and resource pipelining and they should be prepared to provide project updates on a weekly basis to leadership. The right person for this role will be a high level communicator with the ability to proactively address problems, speak clearly about their plans to mitigate risk, and document their processes accordingly. This person will also have knowledge of cybersecurity, GRC, security compliance, or vulnerability management.
5+ years working in an IT Test Manager, Quality Coordinator, or Quality PM role
Security Experience - GRC, security compliance, vulnerability
Proven experience delivering projects involving 20+ resources, preferably both on shore and offshore.
Recent experience providing capacity planning and resource planning on projects and demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise, reports to upper leadership.
Exposure to Quality Assurance practices and ability to speak about the nuances of end-to-end application testing (tracking defects, regression testing, cadence of releases, etc)
High level communicator with experience providing status updates and risk mitigation efforts on scheduled calls with leadership (able to speak on avoiding or handling red/yellow projects)
Ability and desire to be responsible for day to day management of large group of third party contractors
Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and presenting to leadership
Experience creating strategy documents
Excellent communication skills
