Job Description

A Fortune 500 client of Insight Global is looking for an Information Architecture/Instructional Designer to join their team. This team is an engineering team that supports other engineering teams across the company. They are responsible for running and maintaining enterprise tools. This team is adding a new tool that they will be supporting. This tool is an internal company search engine that connects to all internal tools, outlook, and outside resources to gather information (this has a Chat GPT aspect to it as well). This tool Is called GLEAN. They are looking for someone who can help define the strategy for the features of this tool, partner with the product owner and communications/enablement lead for strategy, and review ongoing insights and actions. This person is also expected to be able to educated others on this tool.



Day to Day:

- Information Architect:

- Defines strategy for use of Glean knowledge features based on organization's approach to knowledge

- Defines, monitors, and refines governance model

- Partners with Product owner and Communications/Enablement lead to

bring knowledge strategy to life across the organization

- Reviews analytics for ongoing insights and actions

- Provides company specific acronyms (optional)

- Developers communication and enablement plan for pilot and initial launch

- Developers communication and enablement plan for ongoing updates

- Contribute use case specific perspective to launch and ongoing use

- Shares successes and feedback

- Provides feedback to Glean team on current product and roadmap

- Assists with LOB specific communications and enablement

Includes representation from global groups like HR/People team

Required Skills & Experience

- strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

- comfortable leading strategy on a new product/tool implementation and collaborating with sr. leadership

- Ability to provide status updates and present to sr. leadership if needed

- Instructional Design Experience

- experience teaching/educating employees on a product or tool
