Job Description

One of Insight Global's Hospitality clients is looking for a Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master to join their local team in Atlanta.



Project Manager/Scrum Master role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of large, complex software application initiatives in the Corporate Systems portfolio. They will manage project or program risks, issues, actions, and decisions, and report status on a recurring basis to project steering committee. Additionally, they will create and maintain project budget plans and track actual spend and forecast spend throughout the project lifecycle, highlighting variances and taking actions to mitigate. They will track project change control throughout the project lifecycle and identify impacts to the schedule, cost, or scope baseline. They will partner with business partner, implementation partner project manager, and leadership to ensure scope, quality, and schedule objectives are being met. Finally, they will prepare status reports and present updates to the Technology Services monthly portfolio review meetings.



The mixed Project Manager/Scrum Master will be working with a lot of software development teams, and working with 3rd party vendors to configure cloud-based systems. One project they will be working on is the upgrade of physical equipment in the corporate office and systems. They will be a part of a shared PMO service. The key interfaces for this role are business partners, implementation partner project manager, product owners, IT development teams, support teams, data center resources, IT leadership, technology business management/PMO, finance and procurement, and vendors1.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Education, Experience, Technical Skills, and Knowledge

* Demonstrated experience in full lifecycle delivery of large, complex software initiatives with cross-functional technology workstreams.

* 5+ years of progressive work-related project management experience with proficiency in multiple disciplines, technologies, or processes related to the position.

* 1+ years of leading teams in an Agile framework as a Scrum Master.

* Demonstrated knowledge of project/program and portfolio management methodology, and project constraints.

* Project management experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation and ability to translate strategic business requirements into technical specifications and specific system functionality.

* Demonstrated analytical, budgeting, performance tracking, monitoring, analyzing, and communication skills. Ability to focuses on quantifiable outcomes.

* Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for providing and presenting information to clients, vendors, management, and staff.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience in implementing SaaS/cloud-based applications.

* Experience in implementing large human resources or financial software applications.

* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

* Scrum Master certification.

* Experience using Clarity PPM and Rally.

* Experience using Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.
