The designer will collaborate with the Packaging Design Lead and work collaboratively with the Packaging and Brand Design teams. The ideal candidate should be a conceptual thinker, highly detailed oriented, have a strong design background, and be able to push boundaries within a comprehensive visual identity system. The packaging designer should have the ability to start projects from the concept phase and lead through production. Ability to work across many packaging systems inclusive of: Core packaging, Sustainable packaging, Retail merchandise packaging, Seasonal Packaging, Brand Extensions and Kids packaging.
* Bachelor's degree in graphic design, packaging design or equivalent work experience
* 6+ years' experience in a creative environment
* Experience in designing for large-scale packaging systems
* Sophisticated working knowledge of 3D form design (virtual renderings a plus)
* Deep knowledge in packaging manufacturing practices, techniques, prepress and printing
* Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) Microsoft Excel, Word,
* and Keynote
