Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on 2 Document Control Coordinators. These individual will be joining the Cross Bore Program under the Operations Support team. The Cross Bore Program is accountable for ensuring execution of the Construction Operations Cross Bore Prevention, Inspection, and Remediation program. This program has a historical backlog of 11 years' worth of sewer CCTV (closed circuit television video) that needs to be reviewed and recorded.



Responsibilities:

* Quality/document control

* Video review of CCTV data collected by third party contractors to identify anomalies related to natural gas cross bore threats

* Ensure CCTV videos associated with cross bore inspections meet company's specifications and requirements

* Audit data quality of project related information such as inspection videos, pictures, excel, etc...)

* Manage storage and review of project deliverables files for quality and completeness

* Prepare customer communication documents for utility, resident, contractor

* Support financial processes such as invoice processing, requisitions, budget accruals and variances

* Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders (Contractors, Asset Protection, DIMP, GIS, Land Management, Community Affairs, and state/county/city agencies etc...)

* Participate in internal and contractor team meetings and document agreements and results

* Communicate deficiencies and monitor corrective action plans

* Review and approve Contractor Submittals including data, status logs, sketches, photos and video to ensure compliance with SOW, progress reports, field changes, invoices, company standards, and policies

Required Skills & Experience

* HS Diploma

* 2+ years of document control, quality audit/control, coordination of administrative activities or operations support or project management

* Strong planning and organization skills

* Analytical and problem-solving skills

* MS Suite proficiency: Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook

* Ability to stay focused and attentive

* Ability to recognize how tasks rank in order of urgency to prioritize time and attend to critical details

* Overall good business acumen and ability to communicate effectively

* Ability to work independently and problem solve

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate with all levels in the organization

* Strong decision-making skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* AS, BS or BA in Construction, Accounting, Management or Engineering

* Video/image document management

* Construction, project management, engineering, accounting or operations experience in utilities or gas distribution

* Experience working with city and county infrastructure and the operation of these systems

* Knowledge and experience with cross bore impingement discovery, remediation, and program administration

* Advanced proficiency in Excel and SharePoint

* General understanding of regulatory compliance and/or quality audit reviews

* General understanding of pipeline systems and city infrastructure

* Familiar with Smartsheet, Power BI or GIS applications

* Familiar with permit acquisition process

* Familiar with project and/or resource management

* Previous experience working with Southern Company
