Job Description
One of Insight Globals Hospitality clients is looking for a Technical Writer to join their team for a 6-month contract, with possible extensions. This position can be located near or offshore, as long as you have reliable internet access and can work in our time zone. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining various types of technical documentation, such as user guides, manuals, reports, presentations, diagrams, and specifications. You will work closely with our IT and engineering teams to understand the requirements, features, and functionalities of our systems and products. You will also collaborate with our stakeholders and clients to ensure the quality, accuracy, and clarity of the documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer in the IT/technical space
Proficient in MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Word
Proficient in Visio or similar tools
Proficient in Adobe PDF
Familiar with technical writing standards, best practices, and tools
Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for different audiences and purposes
Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with ServiceNow and Agile methodologies
Portfolio or samples of your work
