A client of Insight Global has an excellent opportunity for a Digital Transformation Technical Manager to join our Corporate Planning team in Marietta, GA. The Digital Transformation Manager will be responsible for leadership, delivery, and design experience for our software development teams as we work together to build the next generation of Digital Products (Web, Mobile). Must be onsite in Marietta 2-3x week! This is not negotiable but scheduling for onsite is very flexible!
What you will be doing:
* Provide oversight, strategic management, enterprise architecture and technical direction for development of digital product and services.
* Collaborate with tech teams across the organization to design the best tech solutions.
* Participate in the evaluation and selection of IT vendors.
* Build and lead software development teams.
* Hire and mentor software engineers within the DX organization.
* Accountable for the tech digital solutions.
* Performs other duties as required.
Required Skills & Experience
What you need to be successful:
* BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field is a must. MBA is a plus.
* 10+ years of professional experience within architecting, developing, and shipping software products and/or services.
* 3+ years of experience managing people and teams; embodying servant leadership, empowering teams and collaborative work processes.
* Experience with vendor selection processes and managing vendors and contractors in addition to internal software development internal resources.
Competencies:
* Knowledge of React, Java, C#, JavaScript, or any other well-known programming language.
* Proven experience architecting and developing complex digital applications and solutions for Web and MobileTest Driven Development: AAA unit test, BDD requirements, system verification
* Delivery within CI/CD, multiple environments, Agile, Lean, or Kanban
* Proficiency on cloud-based systems; hybrid on-prem, Lambdas, elastic scaling, resiliency.
* A solid understanding of the AGILE framework for SDLC
* Previous experience leading teams working in an AGILE environment.
* Proficiency in UI/UX design and enterprise architecture.
* Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment that respects its engineers and users.
* Ability to collaborate with product and business counterparts, as well as present ideas to internal and external audiences.
* Design thinking, designing new systems from scratch and adapting legacy systems.
