Job Description

D2D:

An Insight Global lottery customer is looking for a junior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team! This Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electronic equipment, components, or systems used within the companies Lottery Retail systems. The candidate should be familiar with mathematical and engineering principles and methods used to design electronic systems. The position requires both individual contribution and support to the senior engineering staff.





Responsibilities:

* Individual design assignments for the development of electronic circuit boards, comprising of embedded microcontroller and other designs, implementing the functions of the company's Retail Systems.

* Conducts research and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products.

* Assisting engineering efforts by supporting Engineers and managers on projects, testing, design reviews, engineering changes, technical documents and more.

* Will provide technical support to engineering teams as well as manufacturing and quality as needed. This may include but not limited to design work, testing, document management, etc.

* Will participate in design verification activities and to help ensure that design / process meets the needs of the customer

* Participate in meetings with different functional teams as needed.

* Proactively seek out information and feedback on current assignment from others as well as develop working relationships with related work teams

Required Skills & Experience

Must:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

* 2-5 years of related experience

* Proficient in PWB board design and the design of Microcontroller Embedded Systems, etc.

* Proficient in technical writing skills (work instructions, validation reports, engineering records and quality notifications, etc.)

* Knowledge of CAD tools such as Altium Designer

* Proficient with Lab debug tools and equipment



Plus:

* Knowledge of Mechanical Design Tools such as Solidworks

* Assembly of electronic circuit board skills
