Day to Day:
NTTDATA Federal Government seeks a highly qualified Global Journeyman Network and Computer Systems Administrator to provide outstanding customer service supporting the Global Activities in several countries worldwide. Global Activities supports networks which include network infrastructure, file servers, satellite communications, and messaging systems. As a Network engineer, you will support foreign nationals daily, including the administration, maintenance, and problem-solving for these systems. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to address Country Directors, Local IT, and Customers.
The employee assigned to Atlanta, GA area should be a US citizen and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, providing 24x7 operation on-call support.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
- A Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience OR 10 years of experince without a degree OR 3 years of experince with a Master's Degree
- Active CCNA
- Valid Passport
- 4+ years of working experience as network and server administrator with skills in various network infrastructure areas, including Windows Server, AD, VMWare, Citrix, Cisco networks, Windows Hyper V, application installation, and support.
- 3+ years of experience working with O365 products
*Prefer no active-duty military because of travel issues with active duty schedules
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
- Working knowledge of Group Dynamics
- Meraki wireless experience OR equivalent CISCO wireless exp is helpful
- Experience troubleshooting & configuring firewalls
