Job Description

Position Summary: Due to continued growth, one if Insight Global's major clients are seeking a Project Management Supervisor to work in one of the following locations -- Kennesaw, GA, Dallas/Fort-Worth, TX, Chicago, IL, Oakland, CA, San Luis Obispo, CA, or Kennewick, WA.

Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)

* Supervise a team of project management professionals.

* Maintains responsibility for the Data Center business unit's project execution

* Establish and enforce project management standards and expectations

* provide coaching and performance feedback to project management professionals reporting to them.

* Manage highly complex projects including, but not limited to, planning, executing, and finalizing projects for the critical infrastructure industry according to established schedules, within budget, and according to client's project management procedures.

* Define program and project goals, objectives, and critical success factors, ensuring they align with the project's commercial strategies including achievement of as-sold margin.

* Foster and maintaining working relations with assigned clients; acting as a single point of contact for one or more assigned clients.

* Support marketing efforts, including identification of marketing opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow up.

* Utilize P6 or Microsoft Projects for scheduling.

* Skilled in coordinating and tracking sub-contractor progress and their deliverables or milestones as they relate to overall schedule.

* Develop task lists for project deliverables and coordinating with engineering to develop detailed engineering task lists as they relate to the schedule(s).

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications / skills

* B.S in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.

* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

* Minimum of 10 years of experience managing projects

* Experience providing technical oversight on complex critical infrastructure projects.

* Skilled in coordinating and tracking sub-contractor progress and their deliverables or milestones as they relate to overall schedule.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.

* Ability to work effectively as a member of the overall team.

* Ability to initiate teamwork, exercise good judgment, prioritize projects, and provide excellent leadership to all projects.

* Ability to travel 10 -- 20%; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred skills:

* Experience managing energy and environmental engineering consultancy projects

* Experience managing data center design-build projects
