A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a GIS Technician. The purpose of this position is to create, collect, review, analyze and validate enterprise asset data within the GIS or other asset information databases/applications. Primary responsibilities for all subsidiaries include converting asset and landbase records into geospatial format in the GIS for infrastructure construction projects, performing QA/QC, and producing related maps, reports, and queries.
* Bachelors in Geography, Engineering, Resource Mapping, Computer Science or related field
* GIS internship or 1-3 years of corporate level GIS experience
* Intermediate level ArcGIS desktop suite experience (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcGIS Online)
