A fintech start-up in Buckhead is looking to grow their onshore team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in the cloud with .NET and C# and also have strong soft skills of communication, humbleness and partnership. This is a very collaborative environment and will be hybrid 3 days a week with Tuesdays/Wednesdays required to be onsite. Some responsibilities include:
Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. Develops new features, to a high standard of quality. Analyzes issues, assesses impact, and performs enhancements and defect resolution in the context of proper system design. Some experience with new system design and/or supporting legacy code. Understands and appropriately applies object-oriented design principles. Practices quality coding techniques in conjunction with an AGILE development methodology. Able to work independently and proactively communicate to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Understands secure software design, applies best practices in this area, and spots potential problems in systems.
Day to Day:
* Work with Business Stakeholders and Technology Leadership to assess requirements and estimate development efforts.
* Design and implement software systems and subsystems to high standard of functional quality, code quality, and scalability
* Analyze, Diagnose, Resolve, and Monitor emergent issues as needed
* Read legacy code and participate in clean up efforts
* Communicate progress on assigned work and discovered issues to Technology Leadership and Business stakeholders
* Participate in regular code reviews and promote best practices with in the Technology Team
* Work with Quality Assurance team to develop test plans and test criteria
* Assist in communicating technical concerns to other team members, working collaboratively to solve problems
