Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Director of Infrastructure to lead their IT Services Organization. This person will report directly to the CTO and assume responsibility for 4 teams: End User Support, Site Reliability Engineering, Field Engineering Services, and Infrastructure Engineering Services. The Sr. Director will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's infrastructure and IT Services strategy and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully leading security and IT service programs, as well as leading and managing high-performing teams. A key requirement for this role will be to bring a strategic and creative approach to evaluating the organization's current state and develop innovate service roadmaps to optimize and modernize the environment. As this leader will assume responsibility for a group of about 30 employees, it is essential that they bring a passion for building culture and highly collaborative teams. This role will also require a strong foundation with the ITIL methodology as many of the IT services current state are built around this framework, but more services are expected to be built out.
Please note -- this role will require a candidate local to Atlanta, GA that is willing to commit to a hybrid work schedule. This role will be expected work onsite 3 days per week and more as needed during seasonal demands or during strategic project initiatives etc.
Required Skills & Experience
-10+ years of experience in IT services including LAN/WAN networking, Azure Tenant Management, End User Services
-Proven experience leading multiple teams simultaneously. Experience should include hiring, management level supervision/delegation of work, performance management, and strategic organizational direction. (Sr. Director will be responsible for leading the Infrastructure, Field Services, End User and Service Reliability Engineering teams in the development and delivery of high-quality services that meet internal and external customer needs and expectations)
-Proven experience leading through the ITIL framework and implementing frameworks for incident and problem management.
-Experience developing and managing service roadmaps and project timelines derived from gap analysis of current services to an appropriate end-state using reference frameworks such as ITIL.
-Proven experience building IT service strategy and leading an IT Services organization by staying ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
-Strategic abilities (experience doing gap analyses and standing up programs)
-Experience with budget planning and finance management
-Extensive experience within the Microsoft Suite (Azure, SQL, Cisco, etc.)
-Bachelor's degree
-Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience managing/leading security compliance initiatives (PCI, etc.)
-Experience working within the retail industry or specifically within franchise environments.
