Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for (2) Infrastructure Engineers to join their IT Infrastructure and Services Organization. This is a key multi-functional role that is part of a small team that supports our client's global infrastructure. It is a hands-on role supporting computer hardware, software, networks, and security. The ideal candidate will be a SME within Microsoft O365 and its application suite/services. They will have prior experience and be comfortable owning the configuration, maintenance, and project implementation within their systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years of overall experience in IT Infrastructure Engineering to include:
-5+ years of experience managing an enterprise network, deploying and supporting Microsoft O365 applications
- Hands-on experience of the administration of the Microsoft Windows Server Platform, including but not limited to Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, FTP, SMTP and DNS. Engineer must have hands on experience with server-side administration, virtual machines, and associated technologies on physical servers.
- 6-8 years of experience building and maintaining an efficient Azure Infrastructure -- engineer must have multi-year experience with Azure networking, VNET, site-to-site VPN, and third-party connected peering.
- 5+ years of experience with networking components to include design experience and experience deploying/configuring routers, switches, firewalls in a Cisco shop
-Experience with LAN/WAN networks
-Experience maintaining network orchestration/automation services, including building and maintaining playbooks, and automation workflows
- Experience with security controls and data loss prevention to include:
-Conditional access policies, tenant isolation, encryption at REST, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
- Creation of network documentation and security policies
- Experience comparing and assessing different technologies with the end goal of environment optimization
- High level knowledge and experience with configurations and project implementations
Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risk and recommend appropriate mitigation plans
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience working with SOX and PCI compliance requirements
- Experience working within the retail industry or specifically within franchise environments
