Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Due Diligence Coordinator for a large Engineering Consulting Firm in Savannah, GA. The ideal individual will be able to conduct, assign, and review Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments for projects in the southeastern Georgia and South Carolina area. They will also organize and schedule the performance of Environmental Phase I/II investigations based on the client's request and internal capability of existing staff. The candidate will conduct meetings with the clients as necessary to determine needs, cost expectation, and schedule, and develop proposals for Environmental Phase I reports for review by Senior Engineers / Scientists. They will also conduct environmental site investigations, assessments and surveys to sample, measure and analyze air, water, material, and soil. Through these investigations and analysis, they will identify, evaluate and recommend risk and remediation strategies/designs to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. They will prepare applicable permit applications, risk assessments and technical documents including proposals, reports and regulatory agency correspondence. Projects will primarily include Phase I/II environmental site assessments, but may also include UST closure assessments, remediation investigations, and site planning and permitting. Due to the nature of the position, the ideal candidate will be very organized and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience

· BS in Environmentally Focused Major (Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, etc.) - OR - AS with 8+ years related experience.

· Experience managing environmentally focused Due Diligence projects including client communication, proposal preparations (budget/schedule), risk assessments, access coordination, staff management, and QA/QC report review.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills/Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· 5+ Years experience conducting Standard Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) on a wide array of sites (i.e. undeveloped, commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, multi-family residential)

Experience conducting risk assessments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience working with Senior Scientists and Engineers on large/complex projects.

· Master's Degree in related field

· Experience leading/coordinating multiple teams at a time

· Experience performing NEPA/GEPA assessments

Experience performing specialized due diligence investigations for entities such as Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA), Georgia Department of Education (GDOE), University System of Georgia Board of Regents (BOR), and/or Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT)
