A client of Insight Global is looking for a Technology Service Support Engineer that will be responsible for managing Information Technology (IT) operations and infrastructure. Responsibilities include implementation, and maintenance of technology applications, hardware, and network connectivity. Monitor systems availability, troubleshoots, and resolve technical issues while maintaining service level agreement. The person will provide technical expertise to staff members and mentor other team members on problem analysis.
* 3+ years' of experience working in the Information Technology Infrastructure field.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure situations.
* Experience setting up and configuring Active Directory
* Experience supporting Office365
* Experience working with a ticketing system -- they are using Connectwise
* Experience setting and configuring Windows 10 and 11, as well as Windows servers
* Understanding of TCP/IP
* Strong communication skills -- this role will be client facing, need candidates to be very sharp!
* Basic grasp of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts -- understanding LAN/WAN, troubleshooting firewalls, backups and disaster recovery
