Job Description

An Insight Global client is looking for a Store System Specialist to join their team of 6! As the Store Systems Specialist, you are responsible for problem management, configuration, staging, installation and data upload and download troubleshooting of various point of sales (POS) systems. The position requires strong technical skills in retail and/or hospitality systems and as well as great collaboration and interpersonal skills in cross function environment. At any given time you might be working with 3rd party implementation companies to discuss technical components, act as a 2nd line of support, helping with process documentation, working to discover and collect store information, or test the processes in place. The ideal candidate will be a junior to mid level systems specialist looking to grow!

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have's:

* 2-4+ years of experience in POS support/configurations

o If they come from a POS implementation background, that is ideal

o Broad knowledge of Store Systems hardware and software including POS, peripherals, Pinpad, media player, digital signage, PC and network printer, etc.

* Writes, maintains, and reviews technical documentation for hardware and software processes

* Experience with Windows Operating Systems, able to manage Microsoft patch application



Plusses:

* Experience with Event Viewer, application logs, Microsoft SQL query.

* Experience with software distribution & patch management using BigFix, Kaseya and Intune
