Sr. SQL Developer

Position Purpose:

The SQL/Python Developer will be responsible for partnering with Marketing stakeholders to develop & refresh all email and advertising campaigns through SQL and python. In addition to development they will help manage the cleaning, and extracting of data using Python & SQL to help the marketing departments create actionable insights. The Engineer will participate in selected aspects of The Home Depot's Campaign Management together with Senior Campaign Engineers and will serve a supportive role in the outbound direct marketing function for the team including handling selections, campaign delivery, and post campaign analysis. The role may include liaising with high level internal clients and the agency of record. 99% back-end coding work with heavy use in SQL day to day. Python will be used probably 30-40% of the time.

Must Haves:

- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions for large scale marketing systems, ideally at a large retailer.

- 4+ years of experience working with python and SQL

o minimum of 3 years work with it in a job, needs to self-rank above a 7/10

o minimum of 2 years work with it in a job, needs to self-rank above a 6/10

- Experience managing a large-scale integrations/go-live and APIs

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time

- Past exp providing solutions on data warehouses and database performance improvements, analytics, and reporting implementations
