This person would be responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining Laboratory and Pathology information systems for all the hospital facilities to meet laboratory and hospital needs. They will participate in multi-departmental projects including supporting the lab build for the Cerner interfaces which include blood bank, micro bio, reference lab interface, histology, molecular diagnostic lab, and ambulatory and integrated systems testing. The Ideal person would come from a background within IT LIS or medical Laboratory, with an IT understanding and interest these candidates need to understand Cerner Lab modules and/or Cerner Path Net in rules and DA2 reporting.
* B.S. Degree in Laboratory science, computer science, or a related field.
* Two to four years of experience working as a Systems Analyst or SR Analyst in a healthcare environment.
* Must possess good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with an ability to educate others.
